Steve Lauri was born on April 26, 1954 in London.

He is an original member, and guitarist/vocalist, of 70's Disco hitmakers

5000 Volts. Their world-wide hits include "I'm on Fire" and "Dr. Kiss Kiss".

Steve has spent the last twenty-five years as a session musician, backing

many famous stars including Bonnie Tyler, Bucks Fizz, Cliff Richard, Elaine

Page, David Essex, Hale and Pace and with the 70's revival in full swing -

The Glitter Band and of course 5000 Volts.

Apart from perfoming with 5000 Volts, Steve also manages the band, and

appears on European TV and live events. He also works as a solo performer and entertainer and is an accomplished songwriter.

The invitaition to work with The Hollies was an opportunity he would not

have wanted to miss!
