Ray Stiles was born November 20, 1946 in Guildford, Surrey.

 

Ray co-owns the Pelican Recording Studio in London.

 

Ray also plays in his own band Taboo, in which his wife, Annie, is the lead

singer.

 

For the song Peggy Sue Got Married on the recent Buddy Holly tribute album, Ray did a great deal of the studio work in transforming the Buddy Holly recording into something that the Hollies could work with.

 

Ray is currently recovering from a motorbike accident. He was replaced on bass for the Hollies Spring 1996 Tour by Steve Stroud.

 

Ray Stiles have played with Mud from 1966 to 1982 and they have a very big hit in 1974 called "Tiger Feet". Mud made a lots of record in the 70's and have a very big success vith many hits.
